Environment and Infrastructure

The village of Marušići is situated between the pirate city of Omiš and the coastal town of Makarska, on the popular Omiš Riviera. There are two stunning beaches, but the absolute highlight of the region is the multiple award-winning Punta Rata Beach, located in the village of Brela, approximately 11 km away.

In recent years, the infrastructure has been significantly improved. The neighboring towns and the airport in Split, which is about 55 km away, are easily accessible due to the connection to the highway.

The village offers various restaurants, as well as a small supermarket for daily needs. The old town of Marušići is particularly worth a visit. For water sports enthusiasts, the region also has a lot to offer. The city of Omiš is known for its numerous sports activities, restaurants, konobas (traditional Croatian taverns), and cafes.
