Environment and Infrastructure
El Sauzal is one of the most beautiful places on the Canary Island of Tenerife. The town center is located about 300 meters above the Atlantic Ocean on a cliff edge. The area around El Sauzal is one of the most popular residential areas for mostly Central European bad weather refugees. The reasons for this are undoubtedly the quiet location away from the tourist crowds, the upmarket residential areas, the town's captivating charm and the favorable climate. Every time you visit this pretty town, you will discover new enchanting corners and photo opportunities. Between the districts of Puntillo del Sol and El Puertito, Calle de Rojas leads to the beautiful coastal promenade of Costa El Sauzal with various places to take a bath.
