Environment and Infrastructure
El Sauzal is one of the most beautiful places on the Canary Island of Tenerife. The town center is located about 300 meters above the Atlantic Ocean on a cliff edge. From this plateau, you have a charming view over the entire north coast, and also to the majestic Pico del Teide, which at 3,718 meters is the highest mountain in Spain.
The area around El Sauzal is one of the most popular residential areas for mostly Central European bad weather refugees.
