Environment and Infrastructure
La Guancha is located in the north of Tenerife. Half an hour by car from Puerto de la Cruz - the most important tourist city in the north of the island. This rural environment has the Charco del Viento on its coast, and the landscapes of banana trees cover its coast. It is also close to Playa San Marcos (accessible in just twenty minutes by car).
In La Guancha, there are possibilities to do different trails, such as the one that goes from El Pinalete to the center of the municipality. From the plot to the center, it can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Once there you will find small supermarkets, and local shops, as well as many bars and restaurants typical of this agricultural area of the island.
